Consultations
General consultation services are available to all UConn faculty at all campuses at no charge. All services rendered in consultations are confidential and shared only with the client. CETL consultants provide supportive and formative feedback; though they do not provide information or evaluation for tenure, promotion or hiring decisions, clients may use the consultation reports as they see fit. Consultations can span a range of topics and formats, depending on the interests of the faculty. Some of the areas that can be addressed in consultations are
Teaching Workshops and Seminars
CETL offers extensive programming aimed at advancing learning through improved teaching. All faculty and teaching assistants are invited to join these programs to learn about best practices in teaching.

The President's Series on Teaching Excellence
The President’s series on Teaching Excellence is designed to provide a forum to facilitate discussion and reflection on the journey from good teaching to great teaching. Come join your faculty and staff colleagues for a lively and engaging discussion as we explore the essence of being a great teacher.
Awards
Annually CETL gives awards to instructors who exemplify excellence in teaching and who demonstrate significant student learning through best practices. Awards are given to full-time faculty, adjuncts, and to teaching assistants.
Summer and Winter Programs
Administration of summer and winter courses at UConn is overseen by CETL's Office for Summer and Winter Programs.
Office of Early College Experience (ECE)
UConn Early College Experience (UConn ECE) is a concurrent enrollment program that allows motivated high school students to take UConn courses at their high schools for both high school and college credit. Every course taken through UConn ECE is equivalent to the same course at the University of Connecticut. Students benefit by taking college courses in a setting that is both familiar and conducive to learning.Â
