Consultation services are available to all UConn instructors at all campuses at no charge. Whether you are a longtime faculty member, a new post-doctoral researcher, a TA, a staff member mentoring a student club, or any other UConn employee interested in developing your teaching skills, CETL consultations can provide feedback and ideas for your particular situation. Consultations generally involve one-on-one, confidential meetings and either class observations or reviews of materials such as syllabi.

All services rendered in consultations are shared only with the client, though many clients do choose to include CETL feedback from observations into their portfolios for job applications or tenure review. CETL consultants provide supportive and formative feedback rather than formal assessments.
