Mediasite is a lecture capture tool used to record class sessions or lectures and upload recordings to university servers.  You can generate recordings using one of three methods: a Hardware Recorder, a Desktop Recorder, or an external media source. The Hardware Recorder is integrated into the select classrooms on the University of Connecticut campuses. Faculty and staff may submit a request to schedule Hardware Recordings here. The downloadable Desktop Recorder (Mediasite Desktop Recorder) allows faculty and staff to record presentations from a personal or university computer’s desktop or to upload media recorded through other methods.

Before You Begin

Before you begin recording your presentation you will need to:
Create your Mediasite Profile/Account
Install and Register Your Mediasite Desktop Recorder
