HuskyCT (Blackboard)

Overview: UConn’s learning management system, “HuskyCT,” is powered by Blackboard Learn.  Use HuskyCT to electronically send announcements, post content, collect and grade assignments, give quizzes, hold discussions, post grades, and more.  HuskyCT also offers Collaborate, the Blackboard web conferencing tool, for university-wide use.

Use of HuskyCT is optional, but students often have an expectation that their classes will have a HuskyCT site.

Request a site. Use the Student Administration System (PeopleSoft) to request HuskyCT sites for classes you are teaching. Please note that it takes up to 24 hours for a HuskyCT site to be created once requested and that students gain access to HuskyCT sites the first official day of classes unless this date is modified by the instructor.

Log in and set up a site. The HuskyCT login uses your NetID and password.  Through Blackboard, you have access to support 24 hours a day and seven days week. During normal business hours – 9 am to 6 pm on Monday through Friday – your support requests will be answered by our partnership manager. You can reach the manager by phone, chat, or email, and if you would like more in-depth assistance, can schedule a 30 minute appointment.

If you need assistance outside of business hours, call the number above or use the chat link to contact an after-hours advisor.

These expanded Blackboard resources replace the HuskyCT support previously offered from the Instructional Resource Center.  CETL staff are still available to assist will all of your educational technology needs and can be reached at 860-486-5052.
