Capstone
A Capstone is an academic experience that you will embark on at the end of your BGS Program. The Capstone will allow you to pull together what you’ve learned from the variety of courses you’ve completed throughout your BGS Program and express that knowledge in an interdisciplinary way.
Your Academic Counselor will discuss your options with you and help you to determine which Capstone Experience is best for you.
You can choose one of two options to fulfill your Capstone requirement
- An approved interdisciplinary class:
Your Academic Counselor can tell you which classes have been approved as a Capstone Experience - A Summary Project that can be completed in one of the following ways:
- An Independent Study
- An Internship
- A Research Paper
- An Artistic Production
- A Research Experiment
